Title: VP, Business Development

Qualifications: Degree in Life Sciences or Quantitative Sciences; management qualification desirable

Experience: 15+ years in a sales/business development role, with majority of the experience related to the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, specifically selling services to pharmaceutical companies;
require 5+ years in selling post-launch services to the commercial teams of pharmaceutical companies (real world evidence, health economics, outcomes research, market access, pricing)

Role Purpose:

  • Drive top line sales for Actu-Real, a healthcare analytics company with solutions and services across clinical development and post-launch, primarily related to Value-based healthcare, Real World Evidence, Health Economics, Market Access and Technology solutions
  • Lead generation through personal relationships & other sources
  • Facilitate deal closure

Responsibilities:

  • Help devise business strategy as a senior member of the Actu-Real team
  • Develop and implement sales strategies (segmentation, messaging, targeting) for solutions and services along with the sales & marketing teams and executive management
  • Own the Sales process for the US region, including outreach, lead generation and contract negotiations
  • Partner with sales leaders in other geographies as needed
  • Facilitate generation of proposals/RFP responses by providing insights of client expectations
  • Drive growth in existing accounts through active account mining strategies
