The Senior Project/Client-Engagement Manager will provide project management support for a US-based Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) Function including its RWE Consulting & Data Analytics team to support the daily activities of high-volume client communication plans and track project management activities, resources, deliverables, and the timeline for research projects across multiple therapeutic areas (TA) or disease areas; specific tasks may include but not limited to:

  • Liaise with each TA research or Pod Team including researchers, data analysts, and data scientists on a regular basis to track and update the progress of projects and specific tasks within a project using a project management tool/system
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to clients
  • Lead internal status meetings and host client meetings
  • Participate in, document meeting minutes, and assist with scheduling of team’s meetings
  • Coordinate project timelines and support adherence to project milestones and deliverables
  • Provide quality and version control of project deliverables
  • Manage project files and folder maintenance with an emphasis on version control
  • Prepare professional and timely response to all internal and external communications
  • Review and report on the financial health of the project (monitoring and tracking the budget)
  • Identify, propose, and implement new processes, workflows, and technology to constantly improve project efficiency
  • Provide periodic progress summaries and updates to the Vice President, Client Engagement, and other stakeholders to eliminate barriers and to ensure work efficiency
  • Ensure consistent standards and requirements are applied across projects
  • Implement a philosophy of continuous process improvement (‘Kaizen’)


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, biology, life sciences, or related field; Masters preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years’ direct project management experience (from conception to final deliverable) in a CRO, academic, or similar setting
  • Proficiency in Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills
  • Well-developed client service orientation and effective communication strategies
  • Solid organizational and planning skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and offer recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Experience with using Agile project management tool/system preferred
  • HEOR Consulting background preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
